After installing the device at the target location, it must be properly configured in the application. Incorrect configuration may cause incorrect operation. The settings depend on the place where the sensor is installed.

The sensor has a Doppler radar, which works by emitting microwave waves that are reflected from the object and return to the sensor. Based on the analysis of the returning waves, the sensor can detect: the presence of an object, even when the object is not moving

The waves penetrate materials such as glass, plastic or plasterboard, thanks to which the sensor will detect, for example, a person in the shower cabin and will not turn off the light in the bathroom. Additionally, the sensor has a light sensor that can be used for automation, e.g. to turn on the lighting in a room when the sensor detects an object and the light intensity in the room is below the set level. Basics of the ZigBee protocol: The ZigBee protocol works on a well-propagating ™ in the 2.4 GHz frequency

ZigBee communication is MESH communication, which means that every ZigBee device with full L+N power works as a signal amplifier for other devices. If the remote sensor has no connection with the ZigBee gateway, it is enough that it has radio communication with another ZigBee device with full L+N power, which has communication with the gateway (up to 3 devices). The devices work in a mesh chain of connections, which ensures reliability and certainty of the connection

Devices using the ZigBee protocol in the event of a change state, they connect to the control panel in 0.2 seconds, and WiFi need about 5 seconds to connect to the network after the state change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage when it comes to automating smart rules
