The sensor has a Doppler radar, which works by emitting microwave waves that are reflected from the object and return to the sensor. Based on the analysis of the returning waves, the sensor can detect: the presence of an object, even when the object is not moving

The waves penetrate materials such as glass, plastic or plasterboard, thanks to which the sensor will detect, for example, a person in the shower cabin and will not turn off the light in the bathroom. Additionally, the sensor has a light sensor that can be used for automation, e.g. to turn on the lighting in a room when the sensor detects an object and the light intensity in the room is below the set level.
